Manhattan Nights are an outstanding 6- piece Wedding and Function Band fronted by two female singers. Long-lasting friendships form its core; three members of the rhythm section have been playing together since the Sixties. Over the years there has hardly been a type of music - or indeed hairstyle - that has not been embraced.

Fifteen years ago they accepted sexual equality and allowed girls into the band. Since then they have extended their formidable reputation, as one of Wiltshire's leading Wedding and Function Bands, also covering the South West and into South Wales. Recommendations and regular repeat bookings testify their popularity based on a consistency of performance.

The band has the ability to entertain most age groups with an extensive, repertoire of song material that spans five decades. Every song is a classic of its time, and guaranteed to keep guests dancing all night.

The band has experience in all these areas - no function being too large or too small. Past performances have been held at various establishments including: Schools, Hotels, Conference Centres, and Country Houses; City, Town and Village Halls; Military Establishments, marquees and private gardens; Sports Clubs, Golf Clubs and Race courses; and not forgetting, Cattle Markets, Naturist Clubs, Fire Stations and even a Prison- as visitors of course!

Manhattan Nights performance is entirely live, no pre-recorded tapes or backing tracks are used and the PA system is operated by a sound engineer. Stage and floor lighting is also supplied to give an added feel to your event. Background music can be played through the PA system during breaks etc; this can be from your own iPod if you wish.
